Hello Springbrook Families,

On behalf of the entire Springbrook staff, welcome to the 2021-2022 school year!  We hope that you are all looking forward to returning to school after a summer break that finds you healthy and well.  We have already begun working hard as a staff to prepare for the new school year and are excited for another new beginning!

For the most updated information on protocols we’ll be following as we open our doors to students, please use the district’s resource page: https://iusd.org/covid-19-resource-page.  I’ll email families directly with any important updates, and encourage you to periodically check the Springbrook website for information updates:  http://www.iusd.org/sp.

Teacher Assignment

Teacher assignments are available on the Parent Portal this afternoon.  Please click for instructions on how to view your teacher in the Parent Portal.

NOTE: Please double check if you were able to access this prior to today. Anything visible prior to today was not “final”, as noted in my first update.

Campus Boundaries

We are looking forward to welcoming parents back on campus in the future, however, we are not quite there yet... at this point in time we must make health/safety a top priority.  Therefore, only staff and students are allowed on the blacktop areas of campus.  Parents must remain on the grass/cement boundaries of campus (see red boundaries on map below).  We have done our best to put parents in close proximity to students’ classrooms with our drop-off and pick-up locations and we appreciate your cooperation.

Where to Meet Your Teachers on Thursday, August 19th - The 1st Day of School!

TK/Kindergarten: Please meet at the location your teacher provided, near their classroom

Grades 1-6: For the first day only, students will meet their teacher on the blacktop area by the handball and basketball courts.  Please see pictures below for approximate locations.

Parents are welcome to remain on the field for hugs, high-fives, and to wave goodbye as students head to class with their teachers.
