Are You Returning to Springbrook Next Year?

In order for Springbrook (and IUSD) to plan for the 2023-24 school year, it is critically important that we know your intentions for your child’s schooling for next year.   Please click on this link: Intent to Return and it will direct you to the Aeries Parent Portal.  Please log in and it will send you directly to the Intent to Return form. Once on the Intent to Return screen, click on the “+Add” button on the right-hand side and this is where you will respond to only a few questions.    If you need additional “how to” assistance in this process, please click here.

We ask that this be completed no later than March 24, 2023.

    Before and After-School Expectations

Per IUSD Board Policy 5142: The school day for the student is defined as from 15 minutes prior to the student’s first class until 10 minutes after the conclusion of the student’s last class. Parents/guardians are not to deliver their student to school prior to 15 minutes before the start of school or leave them at school longer than 10 minutes after the end of the school day. Students who are still on campus after 10 minutes will be asked to wait in the front office and parents will be contacted.

We understand that our community enjoys accessing Springbrook’s playground, blacktop, and field. Please respect these guidelines:

    • Students in grades PreK-3 may NOT play on school property between primary-grade dismissal and upper-grade dismissal.
    • After dismissal, all students are expected to leave campus and go home. We ask that students/families completely vacate school property after school dismissal. This is to ensure students are reporting directly to parents/guardians and that Catalyst Kids, the on-site childcare program, has time to set up for their program’s activities.
      • The playground, blacktop, and fields are designated for Springbrook students throughout the school day and for Catalyst Kid’s childcare program until closing

    School Lunches

The Nutrition Services Department is excited to share that the State of California has committed to serving free meals to all students on campus this upcoming school year. ALL students will receive free meals throughout the 2022-23 school year. While meals are free for all students, families are still highly encouraged to complete a free or reduced-price meal application to ensure your child receives additional benefits to which they may be entitled. If approved, these applications may qualify families for Pandemic EBT 3.0 (P-EBT) Cards, discounted college application fees, discounted school events, and discounted utilities through gas, electricity, internet, or phone providers. These applications also benefit schools by providing increased funding through the Local Control Funding Formula, including funding for support staff, computers and other technology.
